Certainly Finding Companionship Made to Last in Dallas
June 27th, 2009You guys know I hate to say it, ’cause without a date, I get pretty lonely. Get this, this morning I broke my resolution and smoked two packs of cigarettes. During my birthday party while being single, for once. Yeah, I did it. What does this mean? Honestly, that’s when I first thought about getting out to date in North Dallas.
No problem. I’ll ease back into dating at a matchmaking service like Great Expectations Dallas. Probably isn’t a bad idea. Loneliness bites, heres why. After practically choking down some of grandma’s potato salad at my boy’s t-ball game in Dallas yesterday, Jim wouldn’t get off my back about if I have settled down with the love of my life. They always bring this up, every year. So, I said, “I’m eating here, and no.”
And of course Cousin Terry doesn’t know when to quit driving home on the topic of my companionship situation. I joked to all of them: “Seriously, what do you know about dating?”
How can they be so rude? Everyone looked away and giggled. Irritated, I called Dave because the dating pressure was too much. I still have no idea what to do! I can’t imagine what I was thinking there. Chuck, who is now a Budist monk or something recommended that I enroll in Great Expectations. I said, “That would do the trick.” What a relief. I especially enjoy the Denver Singles Events at Great Expectations.
At the time, dating services were new from my perspective. I’d never done anything like this before, and I was speechless at first. That faux pas couldn’t stop a great time. The evening was a limo pub crawl from heaven. The truth is I’ll never forget all the other members, some who are my new friends.
It’s been a pleasure to party at these incredibley satisfying Great Expectations Denver singles events, I bumped into a handful of marvelous guys and gals that obviously feel as excited as I am when it comes to dating. Can’t imagine why I used to let anyone give their two cents about living the bachelor’s life after all these years. Amazingly enough, matchmaking with Great Expectations is a good time and like a dream come true.
